Black Seed Oil Improves Beef Fat-induced Blood-biochemical Abnormalities in Swiss Albino Mice

نویسندگان

چکیده

Background: The high saturated fatty acid content of beef has been linked to obesity and cardiovascular diseases. study investigated the impact black seed oil (BSO) on fat-altered hemato-biochemical pathophysiological alterations in albino mice. Methods: Twenty four Swiss Albino mice (Mus musculus) 25-28 days old were equally divided into three groups (n=8) namely A, B C. Mice group A was designated as untreated control group. Groups C fed pellets containing 10% fat BSO, respectively for 9 weeks. Result: results revealed that fat-fed gained weight BSO normalized gain. hematological values supplemented improved after being with BSO. LDL-c, Triglycerides total cholesterol levels all significantly lower plus fat. HDL-c higher Spleens slightly enlarged without gross abnormalities. caused minor changes histostructures kidney, heart liver. There significant cardiac muscle massive kidney tissue. This concluded beneficial effects body can prevent fat-induced
